He is amazed when he discovers Hina there in the future with him but there is a slight problem. The only one who may know that is is Hina but she is missing. While this is good the problem is that he is now stuck in the future with no way to return home. He makes the choice to fight and actually manages to buddy up with Dio and his mecha making them an unbeatable force that saves the day. There he finds himself alone in a macha while a battle is going on outside. She does a bit more though and actually manages to send him into the future. This one piloted by his classmate Hina and she's out to save him. It quicly becomes clear that he is the target of the mecha and this is when a second mecha appears. Things change drastically when an unknown mecha suddenly appears at school and starts shooting up the place. His grades are good and he is a star athlete. STORY: Aoba doesn't have a care in the world. Together they may be what the Alliance needs to win the war. Although not happy with Aoba he is stuck with him as they are perfect buddies. She saves him when the school comes under attack and is the one who send him into the future to Dio.ĭio is an ace mecha pilot and part of the Buddy project. Hina starts out as Aoba's classmate but she is much more. A normal highschool boy who gets caught up in some time travel and a massive war. With this I got no complaints.ĬHARACTERS: Main character is Aoba. Music should be there to enhance the viewing and not take it over. In my case this is not a bad thing though as I rarely pay any attention to the music. SOUND: Although I just finished watching it I'm already struggling to remember any music from the series. Although the action is very fast at times it is still easy to follow and characters are very identifiable. The more I hate an anime the more spoilers there will be.ĪRT: One of the better looking anime I've seen in a while. So, having explained this lets rip into this anime shall we? Just a heads up: There will most probably be spoilers. It annoys me to be sure but I will not rant about it. Things like this are normal here and I'm pretty much fine with it. Yes, it is stupid but it is a stupid that I'll allow. In this case I'm not talking about a 90 pound girl catching a multi-ton cruise missile and throwing it back. I can't ignore the stupid shown in the anime and this is a problem as most anime are very stupid indeed. There is a reason for this though and it has to do with the fact that I can't turn my brain off when watching anime. If you have been reading my reviews than you may have noticed that I tend to rip the anime a new one.
